Ramona Proca, MA, LCP

Ramona earned her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and provides compassionate, client-centered care grounded in evidence-based therapeutic approaches. She has clinical experience providing individual and group therapy in an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), with a focus on perinatal mental health, including postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, and the emotional challenges that can accompany pregnancy and the transition into parenthood. She also supports clients navigating depression, anxiety, stress, relationship concerns, identity development, and significant life transitions.

Ramona creates a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and supported. Drawing on her background in immigration law and work with immigrant communities, she brings a culturally sensitive perspective to therapy. As a fluent English- and Romanian-speaking therapist, she offers clients the comfort of communicating in their preferred language while fostering cultural understanding and connection.

Ramona believes in the strength and resilience within each individual and works collaboratively with clients to build on their strengths and work toward meaningful change. Her approach is warm, empathetic, and tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.

Outside of her professional life, Ramona enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, traveling, cooking and making meaningful memories with family and friends.

Ramona warmly welcomes new clients and invites you to take the first step toward feeling heard, understood, and supported. She believes that reaching out for support is a meaningful act of courage and would be honored to walk alongside you through life’s challenges and transitions. Together, you can create a space for growth, healing, self-discovery, and meaningful change, while building on the strengths and resilience you already carry within you.
